At Rusty, we were tired of seeing the major wetsuit manufacturers constantly using harmful chemical-based neoprene in their products just to cut costs. We developed our ECOPRENE foam, which is 100% limestone-based foam and is the lightest, most comfortable and strongest foam on the market. In our quest for an eco-friendly and high-performance wetsuit, we didn't stop there. The entire suit is made from eco-friendly yarns and jersey, as well as water-based adhesives and laminates.

ECOPRENE

The lightest, warmest and most stretchable limestone-based foam on the market. Unlike most wetsuits on the market, Ecoprene contains ZERO petroleum chemicals. The foam is 100% synthesized from the highest quality limestone, providing the lightest, most comfortable and strongest foam on the market.

DOPED DYED YARNS

An environmentally friendly, water-saving and fade-resistant dyeing technique.

AQUA-A

Environmentally friendly, water-based adhesives and laminates. No nasty solvents in our suits......you're welcome!

Anatomically shaped panels with minimal seams for unrestricted movement and maximum performance. Each panel features triple bonded, double blind stitched seams. Our ECOPRENE inner seal maximizes seam sealing while providing unrestricted stretch and comfort. The suit also features silicone seals at the arm and leg cuffs to prevent leakage.

Our chest zipper is designed specifically for performance surfers. Easy entry, Rusty's quick release and minimal bulk for a perfect fit. Our suit features a market-leading YKK zipper that self-locks once closed and has a secure locking tab. Lock it in and forget it.

On the outside, we've added abrasion-resistant knee pads for flexibility and stretch, while our embossed knee panel increases flexibility and gives you a better range of motion.
