At Rusty, we recognize our responsibility to minimize our company's impact on our environment. What started as an internal mandate to trace our supply chain, work sustainably and introduce recycled fabrics has now grown into a company-wide goal.

While we're far from perfect, we're confident that Rusty is taking steps in the right direction.

Making products that last is important to our brand, our customers and our planet. That's why we use eco-friendly fibers like linen, hemp, organic cotton, tencel, wool and recycled polyester wherever possible.

Unlike other major wetsuit manufacturers who use harmful chemical-based neoprene to save money, we only use 100% limestone-based ECOPRENE foam. We also use eco-friendly yarns and tricots, as well as water-based adhesives and laminates to finish each suit.

Rusty swimwear is made from recycled nylon and durable spandex and is designed to hold its shape for years to come. Maximum wearing comfort for our customers is our top priority.

From Bottles to Boardshorts! Our collection is made from recycled plastic bottles that would otherwise end up in our oceans. These bottles are made into pellets, spun into recycled polyester yarn and then woven into fabric to start a new life as Rusty Boardshorts.
